I have so many times throughout my study of Kabbalah even taken osffnee at some of the teachings only to years later, after having gained a better depth and understanding of the material, realize that what I thought they were saying is not what they were saying at all. Kabbalah has so many layers, it is almost like learning a new language. I read a beginner’s book 12 years ago that I recently decided to go read again and I tell you it’s like a completely different book. As for the information itself, maybe Karen was speaking about reincarnating into souls vs. reincarnating into animals or plants. But whatever the case, she didn’t write the book on it, you’re absolutely right. She is a Kabbalist and therefore she is a student and teacher of The Zohar, which is a commentary on the Bible. Many of us, especially those who have been hurt by religion, can be quick to judge the Kabbalah Centre’s teachings. It’s almost as though we are looking for things to find wrong. I did that for a long time, it’s completely natural. And if you read any beginning Kabbalah book, they will tell you to ask those kind of questions. They will tell you to not believe ANYTHING that is in the book! Unless you try it and it works for you.
